About Legacy K-9's puppy program...
It has been proven repeatedely that early neurological stimulation provides a great advantage to the temperment and success of any puppy. All Legacy K-9 puppies are raised with the "Bio-sensor/ super puppy" program. This program introduces minor physical and mental stressors to the puppies from a very ealy age and enables them to overcome stressful encounters more easily as they mature. We also build prey drive and introduce bite imprinting, basic hunt drives, confidence and agility.
We socialize our puppies thoroughly and expose them to as many environmental distractions as possible. Puppies are tested and exposed to various surface textures, raised and grated surfaces, everyday and protection-oriented sounds as well as sport-type distractions. This includes: gunfire, penny jugs, french batons/ clatter sticks, tarps, whips, slick floors, engine sounds, car rides and various other things.
Although purchasing any puppy will come with some uncertainly as to the outcome as an adult, all of this time spent with the puppies, seeing their personality differences allows us to better match puppies with perspective buyers. "First pick" for one person may be last pick for another and vise versa. As such, we do as much as possible to ensure a good match rather than having any interest in "quick sales". Our goal is to improve the breed and offer stable, well-rounded, healthy puppies to excellent working homes.
We have bred Gator to Singe! Puppies are expected in early May. We have been anticipating this breeding since we purchased Singe at 8 weeks old!!! We expect very strong drives, fast, powerful dogs and a high likelyhood of strong aggression in this litter.
